Linda Nicholson, born in 1955 in London, is a British classical pianist and
harpsichordist. She began her musical training at the Royal College of Music,
University of London, studying piano under Kendall Taylor and harpsichord with
Ruth Dyson. In 1978, she won first prize at the inaugural International
Pianoforte Competition in Paris, marking a significant breakthrough in her
