Lloyd Cole and the Commotions were a British rock band formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 1982. The group consisted of Lloyd Cole on lead vocals and guitar, Blair Cowan on keyboards, Lawrence Donegan on bass guitar, Neil Clark on guitar, and Stephen Irvine on drums. During their active years from 1984 to 1989, the band achieved significant success with four Top 20 albums and five Top 40 singles in the UK.
