Lorenz
Lorenz, whose real name is Laurent Debrosse, is a singer-songwriter from
Saint-Claude in Guadeloupe. Born into a musical family, he began his career in
2003 after meeting several well-known producers and artists on the West Indian
scene, including Jerry Charbonnier (Zouk Look) and Bruno "Deejay Slam" Salomon.
In 2004, he released his first album, Paskè Tan Kout, which marked his official
debut on the Caribbean music scene. His second album, Lorenz, was released in
2008 and featured the track"Danse avec moi", his first real mainstream success.
