Los de Abajo are a Mexican ska and Latin fusion band from Mexico City formed in
1992. The ensemble originally consisted of four members: pianist Carlos Cuevas,
vocalist and guitarist Liber Terán, guitarist Vladimir Garnica, and drummer
Yocupitzio Arrellano. They eventually expanded to an eight-piece lineup,
incorporating musical styles such as rock, salsa, reggae, cumbia, and son
jarocho. After being unable to secure a domestic recording contract, they
