Los Hijos Del Pueblo
Los Hijos del Pueblo is a Mexican tropical/cumbia group formed in Cerro Gordo,
Veracruz, in 2002 by brothers Héctor Leal and Francisco Leal, with a
family-based lineup that included other relatives as core members. After
building regional momentum through early recordings, the group broke nationally
in 2006 when the Leal brothers’ song “El Botecito” became their signature hit
and led to wide TV exposure in Mexico. Their catalog soon consolidated around
full-length releases such as Como Pelotita De Ping Pong (2004) and
Ahhhh...Sabrosoooo (2004), followed by the peak-era albums El ...
