Known for their flamboyant costumes and face paint—often compared to KISS, Los
Súper Caracoles are a Veracruz-born tropical/cumbia band whose origins trace to
Rinconada, where brothers Juan Carlos ("Pluma Blanca"), Clemente ("Caballo
Loco"), Tomás ("Drácula"), and Roberto Contreras Pérez ("La Sombra") formed the
group in 1975 before relocating to Xalapa, building a reputation on marathon
baile shows and a mischievous stage image. Moving into the streaming era, the
