Lou Brown
Lou Brown, born in 1978, is an English singer‑songwriter. She received the
Southwest Young Achiever of the Year Award in 2003 and participated in the
Prince's Trust Soundlive programme, where she earned a grant to fund her first
major album. She released her album, What Are You Singing About, in 2006, which
received airplay on several UK regional radio stations. In 2008, she toured the
United States, performing in Chicago and Iowa, and continued to support artists
including Hazel O'Connor, Paul Young, Boo Hewerdine, Albert Lee, Clive Gregson,
