Lou Johnson, born on February 11, 1941, in the United States of America, is an
American soul singer and pianist. He began his musical journey singing in gospel
choirs during his teenage years before studying music at Brooklyn College. In
1962, Lou Johnson signed as a solo singer with Bigtop Records, where he met the
songwriting team of Burt Bacharach and Hal David. His third single, "Reach Out
for Me", reached number 74 on the Billboard Hot 100 in late 1963. Johnson's
