Lou X
Luigi Martelli, known professionally as Lou X, was born on October 18, 1971, in
Tortoreto, Italy. He began listening to rap at 17 and by 1991, had produced and
released his first demo cassette Rappresaglia. His breakthrough came with the
1993 album Dal Basso, distributed by Cordata. This politically charged hardcore
rap album stood out for its raw anger and urgency. Lou X collaborated
extensively with various artists, including Assalti Frontali on their album
