Louis Baker
Louis Baker, born circa 1989 in Newtown, Wellington, New Zealand, is a soul
musician and singer-songwriter. Raised in a working-class family, he began
writing songs at age 11 and was a finalist in the national songwriting
competition Play It Strange at 17. In 2014, Baker recorded his self-titled EP,
Louis Baker, with Andy Lovegrove, which reached number 3 on the New Zealand
Albums chart. From 2010 to 2014, he was part of the neo-soul collective
