(Lu Fang)
David Lui (real name 呂方), born 19 January 1964 in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China,
emerged in the Hong Kong C‑pop scene as a singer and actor. He debuted with the
1984 single "可會遺忘 / 忍著淚說Goodbye" and soon released his first studio album 聽不到的說話
(1985), followed by albums like 回來吧 (1988), 不捨得你 (1990) and 地久天長 (1991). In the
mid‑1990s he issued hits such as "只想遇到一個人" (1994), "流浪花" (1994), and "愛一回傷一回"
(1995), establishing a reputation for melodic ballads. The 2000s saw
compilations like 舊情人老情歌 (2001) and 華納No. 1系列 (2006). Lui also contributed to
