Lynch formed in 2004 in Nagoya, Japan. Mixing the androgynous aesthetics of
visual kei with the aggressive influences of metalcore and alternative metal,
the group made its studio debut with Greedy Dead Souls in the summer of 2005.
Lynch's three co-founders — vocalist Hazuki, lead guitarist Rea, and drummer
Asanao — began expanding their roster in 2006, when rhythm guitarist Yusuke
