Mack J. Wilberg, born February 20, 1955 in Price, Utah, is an American composer,
arranger, pianist, conductor, and choral clinician. He began playing the piano
at age four and served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints in South Korea. Wilberg graduated from Brigham Young
University (BYU) with a Bachelor of Music degree in 1979 and earned master's and
doctoral degrees from the University of Southern California. He started his
career at BYU, directing the Men's Chorus and Concert Choir from 1984 to 1999.
