Magda Umer
Małgorzata Magda Umer-Przeradzka, known as Magda Umer, was born on October 9,
1949, in Warsaw. She was a Polish singer, performer of sung poetry, author of
recitals, journalist, director, screenwriter, and actress. Umer began her career
in the late 1960s by performing in student cabarets and received awards at the
Festival of Academic Youth Arts and the National Festival of Polish Song in
Opole. She released a self-titled album in the early 1970s, followed by another
