Malcolm Vaughan, born Malcolm James Thomas on March 22, 1929, in Abercynon,
South Wales, was a Welsh traditional pop singer. He began his career as a stage
actor in the mid-1940s and gained recognition for his singing abilities. His
breakthrough came in 1955 with "Ev'ry Day of My Life", which reached number 5 on
the UK Singles Chart. This success was followed by hits like "St. Therese of the
