Maliq & D'Essentials are a funk and soul band from Jakarta, Indonesia, formed in
2002. Maliq in the name stands for Music and Live Instrument Quality. Their
debut album '1st Maliq & D'Essentials' came out in 2004 and they earned
nominations in regional awards including the MTV Asia Awards. 'Free Your Mind'
