Malón, an Argentine thrash metal band formed in 1995 by Claudio O'Connor,
Claudio Strunz, Antonio Romano, and Karlos Cuadrado following Hermética's
dissolution. Their debut album Espíritu combativo (1995) featured tracks like
"Síntoma de la infección" and "Castigador por herencia". The band achieved
notable success with performances at Monsters of Rock 1995 alongside Ozzy
Osbourne and Faith No More, but internal conflicts led to their first split in
1998. A temporary reunion in 2001 resulted in the EP El EP with vocalist Eduardo
