Mamadou Diabate
Son of Djélimory Diabaté, born in 1975, Mamadou Diabaté continues the family
kora tradition with his first albums, Tunga (2000) and Behmanka (2005). The
Malian virtuoso, signed to World Village, then flirts with jazz on Heritage
(2006). His solo album Douga Mansa (2008) won him a Grammy Award. Two years
later came the message of hope on Courage.
