Mandinga is a Romanian pop-Latin group originating from Bucharest, formed in
2002 by a collective of musicians that included members of Cuban origin such as
Barbara Isasi, alongside Alex, Chupi, Bazooka, and Florin Zach, bringing a blend
of Latin rhythms to the Romanian music scene. The group’s international
breakthrough came with the release of “Zaleilah” in September 2011, which went
on to secure a twelfth-place finish with 71 points at the Eurovision Song
