Adamantia Stamatopoulou, known professionally as Mando, was born on April 13,
1966, in Piraeus, Greece, and is a Greek singer. Raised by a jazz pianist father
and opera soprano mother, she began singing operatic arias, gospel, and jazz
music at the age of four. Her first record contract with CBS in 1985 led to her
international hit "Fill Me Up" and vocal training with Hal Sheaffer in America.
Mando's career took off with six successful albums under Minos EMI, including
