Mandy Gonzalez
Mandy Gonzalez, born August 22, 1978, is an American actress and singer best
known for her leading roles on Broadway. She worked as a background singer for
Bette Midler's The Divine Miss Millennium Tour (1999) before making her Broadway
debut in the musical Aida (2001). She played Sarah in Dance of the Vampires
(2002) and performed in Lennon (2005). Gonzalez originated the role of Nina
Rosario in the Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of In the Heights, winning
a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Ensemble Performances. She also provided the
singing voice of Su in the film Mulan...
