Manmohan Singh Heer, known professionally as Manmohan Waris, is an Indian-born
Punjabi folk and pop singer who was born in Halluwal, Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India,
on August 3, 1967. Born into a Heer Jatt Sikh family to Dilbag Singh Heer, he
began training in music at eleven years of age before passing his knowledge on
to his younger brothers. After moving to Canada in 1990, he made his recording
debut with the studio album Gairan Naal Peenghan Jhootdeye in 1993, which was
