Mannick began her career with Les Collégiennes de la Chanson in 1960. She then
joined Crëche from 1973 to 1977. Mannick shares her inspiration between French
chanson, Christian faith and the celebration of the purity of love. Mannick
launched her solo career with Paroles de Femmes, which went gold in 1976. She
then alternated between adult albums, children's albums and Christian song
recordings. In 1989, Mannick received the Grand Prix de l'Académie du disque
