Manny Pacquiao
Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao, known professionally as Manny Pacquiao, was born on
December 17, 1978, in Kibawe, Bukidnon, Philippines. He is a former professional
boxer, politician, and singer. Pacquiao released his debut album, Laban Nating
Lahat Ito, in 2006. He performed a cover of Dan Hill's "Sometimes When We Touch"
on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in November 2009 and later recorded the song as a single,
reaching number 19 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. Pacquiao has
released multiple PARI-certified platinum albums and songs, showcasing his
versatility beyond the boxing ring.
