Henri Marcel Thielemans (1912–2003) was a Belgian jazz and light music singer,
trombonist, and orchestra leader from Schaerbeek. After studying at the Royal
Conservatory of Brussels, he performed with Gus Deloof before joining the
orchestra The Ramblers in 1933 under Theo Uden Masman. Thielemans performed
vocal duties for dozens of popular tracks, particularly French chansons, and
remained with the group until its dissolution in 1964. During this period, he
also participated in the Nationaal Songfestival in 1957 and 1960. In 1974,
