Marco Carta, born May 21, 1985, in Cagliari, is an Italian singer. He rose to
prominence after winning the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi in April 2008
with 59% of the public vote, securing a €300,000 prize and a contract with
Warner Music Italy. His debut single "Ti rincontrerò" was released that year,
followed by his first album of the same name, which debuted at number three on
the Italian charts and achieved platinum status. In February 2009, Carta won the
