Marcos Roberto
Marcos Roberto Dias Cardoso, known professionally as Marcos Roberto, was a
Brazilian singer and composer born on June 26, 1941, in São Paulo. Roberto began
his career in the 1960s and was a participant in the TV Record program Jovem
Guarda and the show of Rádio América. In 1970, Antonio Marcelino Vieira donated
the lyrics and melody of the song "A última carta" to him. The recording reached
Number 1 on the charts, remained there for several months, and sold over 2
