Maria Muldaur - born Maria Grazia Rosa Domenica D’Amato in New York City, New York on September 12, 1942 – is a folk and blues singer best known for her 1973 Top 10 single “Midnight at the Oasis.” Raised in the rich cultural crossroads of Greenwich Village, she grew up immersed in a swirl of genres: country, early rhythm and blues, doo‑wop, and traditional mountain music.
