Agostino Capozzi, known professionally as Mario Trevi, was born on November 2,
1941, in Melito di Napoli, Kingdom of Italy. He began his career as a singer at
the age of 17, performing "Nuvole D'Ammore" at the Piedigrotta Festival. His
breakthrough came when he recorded his first series of singles with Royal
Records in 1959. Throughout his career, Trevi released numerous albums including
A Befana (1978), I Miei Successi Di Ieri... Cantati Oggi (1989), and Napoli
