Marti Webb, born Margaret Webb on December 13, 1944 in Hampstead, London, is a
British singer and actress, renowned for her outstanding performances in musical
theater. Born into a musical family, she began her artistic training at an early
age, studying at the Aida Foster Stage School. At the age of 15, she made her
professional debut in the Manchester production of Vivian Ellis's Listen to the
Wind, before joining the London production of Anthony Newley's Stop the World -
