Marvin Sease
Marvin Monnie Sease, born February 16, 1946, in Blackville, South Carolina, was
an American singer. He began his career as a gospel artist before forming his
own R&B group, Naglfar. In 1986, he released his self-titled debut album
featuring "Ghetto Man", marking the start of his professional career. Sease
signed with Polygram and re-released his LP on Mercury Records in 1987,
including the track "Candy Licker," which became a regional hit. His only
nationally charting single, "Tonight", reached number 86 on the US Billboard R&B
