Marwan Abu-Tahoun Recio, known professionally as Marwán, is a Spanish
singer-songwriter and poet. Born March 5, 1979 in Madrid, he was raised in the
neighborhood of Aluche by a Palestinian father and a Spanish mother. He began
writing poetry and songs as a teenager, later studying Physical Education and
working as a teacher before committing to music. His first release, Principio y
Fin (2001), appeared in 2001, followed by his debut official studio album,
