Matthias Bublath
Matthias Bublath, born March 14, 1978, in Munich, is a German jazz pianist,
organist, keyboardist, and composer. Bublath studied at the Bruckner
Konservatorium Linz (1998–2000) and Berklee College of Music (2000–2002), where
he received the Charles Mingus Award. In 2004, Bublath completed a Master’s at
the Manhattan School of Music. After seven years as a freelance musician in New
York City, Bublath returned to Europe in 2010. Bublath performed at the Montreux
Jazz Festival, reaching the semifinals of the 1999 Piano Solo Competition. In
