Max Herre
Maximilian Herre is a German rapper and hip-hop artist who was born in Stuttgart
in 1973. He rose to fame as a member of the hip-hop trio Freundeskries who
released just three albums between 1997 and 2007, all of which made it into the
top twenty in the German charts. Alongside his fellow band members, Don Philippe
and DJ Friction, Herre built a reputation as a socially conscious songwriter
whose lyrics often highlighted political issues.
