Mbosso
Mbwana Yusuf Kilungi, born on October 3, 1991 in Kibiti, Pwani Region, Tanzania,
is a singer and songwriter also known as Mbosso or Mbosso Khan. He began his
career with Yamoto Band from 2013 to 2015, performing under the name Maromboso;
the group earned the Best Band award at the 2015 Kilimanjaro Music Awards before
disbanding. In 2018, Mbosso signed with WCB Wasafi and released the single
"Hodari", which won Video of the Year at the HiPipo Awards in 2019. The album
Definition of Love was released in 2021, featuring Diamond Platnumz and
Rayvanny, followed by the EP Khan in 2022.
