Adrian Hines (born in Miami, Florida), known professionally as M.C. A.D.E., was
an American rapper and producer. A pioneer of Miami bass, MC ADE released the
single “Bass Rock Express” in 1985, which was considered the beginning of the
subgenre. He recorded for 4-Sight, an independent label owned by his father,
Billy Hines. His stage name stood for “Adrian Does Everything,” referring to his
