MC Joãozinho VT, born João Vitor in 2001 in Osasco, São Paulo, is a prominent
figure in the Brazilian funk scene. Growing up in the outskirts of São Paulo, he
was immersed in the sounds of rap and funk, and started his music journey at
just 13 years old. His breakthrough came at 19, after years of dedication.
Encouraged by his father, a metalworker who set up a studio to support his son's
ambitions, MC Joãozinho VT transitioned from being a videomaker to recording his
own tracks. In 2018, he signed with the renowned funk label GR6, releasing
well-produced singles like "Pop Star" ...
