Ngabo Médard Jobert, known professionally as Meddy, and born on 7 August 1989 in
Bujumbura, Burundi, is a Rwandan singer. His musical journey began in high
school when he joined local groups in Kigali, eventually meeting prominent
Rwandan artists such as the Ben and Mucyo. Meddy’s breakthrough came with the
2017 single "Slowly", which charted across East and Central Africa and
established him as a regional hitmaker. He also collaborated with artists like
Otile Brown and Rayvanny.
