After beginning her musical journey in teenage bands and laying the foundations
for her country-pop career as a host in Nashville karaoke bar Printer's Alley,
Louisiana native Meghan Linsey (born on December 10, 1985 in Ponchatoula,
Louisiana) tried her luck on US reality competition show Can You Duet – and it
paid off. Her previous experience served her well; she scooped the show's top
spot and soon signed a recording contract with Big Machine Records as a duo
