Mehul Surti, born on November 16, 1977, in Surat, Gujarat, India, is a music composer and singer. Trained in the Kirana gharana and Mewati gharana musical traditions, he began his career as a music director at age 22 with the Gujarati film Narmada Tara Vahi Jata Pani. His breakthrough came with his work on successful films including Kevi Rite Jaish (2012), Passport (2016), and Vitamin She (2017).
