Meiko Nakahara, born Meiko Obara on 8 May 1959 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, is a
singer known for her contributions to pop music. She debuted in 1982 with the
single "Kon'ya dake Dance Dance Dance" and the album Coconuts House (ココナッツ・ハウス).
Her breakthrough came with the release of her 1984 single "Kimitachi Kiwi Papaya
Mango dane", which became one of the best-selling singles of the year in Japan
that year. Her song "Ru-Ru-Ru-Russian Roulette" served as the opening theme for
the 1985 anime series Dirty Pair, winning the award for Best Song at the Eighth
Anime Grand Prix in 1986. H...
