Melissa McClelland is an American-born Canadian singer-songwriter born on May
18, 1979, in Chicago, Illinois. Raised in Hamilton and Burlington, Ontario, she
established her music career based in Toronto. After releasing her self-titled
independent debut album in 2001, she released Stranded in Suburbia (2004) on
Orange Record Label. She followed with Thumbelina's One Night Stand (2006) and
Victoria Day (2009) under Six Shooter Records. She married Luke Doucet on June
