MEMI (born Kim Hye-mi on June 26, 1990) is a South Korean singer, guitarist, and
songwriter known for her dynamic presence in the alternative rock scene. Based
in Seoul, she is the lead guitarist of the band 24Hours and launched her solo
career with the single “Hate U” in 2022. Showcasing her versatility across rock
subgenres, MEMI released her debut EP M3MI in 2023, featuring tracks like the
metal-influenced “Guitar Pick,” the garage rock-inspired “NY(f)C,” and the
grungy “Waikiki.” Her 2025 releases, including the raw single “Get da Faka” and
the EP Paranoia // Nostalgia.
