MENSCH
A revelation at several festivals in 2012, including Les Femmes S'en Mêlent and
Fnac Live, the Mensch female duo are by no means novices. Valérie Poher and
Carine de Vita have both played in a variety of experimental bands, including
Spade & Archer, Groom and Rzatz, before teaming up for their devastating
self-produced debut EP. Released in the wake of this, their debut album Mensch,
released in March 2012, diffuses a perfume of atmospheric rock tinged with
electro.
