Michelle Gayle
Michelle Patricia Gayle, born on February 2, 1971, in Harlesden, northwest
London, is a British singer and actress. She attended the Barbara Speake Stage
School, where she began her acting career with roles in television shows such as
Grange Hill (1988-1989) and EastEnders (1990-1993). Gayle's music career started
while still on EastEnders, signing with RCA Records in 1993. Her debut single
"Looking Up" reached number 11 on the UK Singles Chart, followed by her biggest
