Mickey Oliver (contributor)
Mickey Oliver is an American musician and DJ. He gained prominence as a founding
member of the Hot Mix 5 team at Chicago radio station 102.7 WBMX, playing a
significant role in popularizing house music. His early releases include "Just a
Tease" (1987) and "Anticipate" (1988). Another notable success came in 1987 with
the production of "Never Let Go", which became a hit. His work In-Ten-Si-T
(1988), co-written and produced with Jim "Cheese" Romano, is regarded as one of
