Mickie Yoshino is a Japan Academy Film Prize-winning composer, producer, and
keyboardist, as well as the leader of the long-running rock band Godiego. He was
born on December 13, 1951, in Yokohama, Japan. While still a teenager, he began
playing shows at the American military base in his hometown, then joined The
Golden Cups in 1967. He left the band's lineup four years later and relocated to
America, where he studied at Berklee College of Music. After graduation, he
