Mike Murley, born December 12, 1961 in Windsor, Nova Scotia, is a Canadian jazz
saxophonist and composer. He graduated from York University in Toronto with a
BFA in 1986 and studied saxophone with Don Palmer, Pat LaBarbera, and Dave
Liebman. Murley's career began with the Shuffle Demons from 1984 to 1989,
followed by his involvement with Time Warp. He has been a sideman for various
artists including David Occhipinti, David Braid, Rob McConnell, Metalwood, and
