Michael Volek, known professionally as Miki Volek, was born on May 21, 1943, in
Uherské Hradiště, was a Czech rock and roll singer, guitarist, pianist, and
composer. He began playing piano, guitar, and drums at a young age and formed
the band Crazy Boys in 1960 with a friend. His breakthrough came in January 1963
when Crazy Boys performed at the Palais Lucerna in Prague, earning him over 3000
