Milca
Milca, a singer of Haitian origin born in French Guiana, has been immersed in
music since childhood, thanks in particular to her music-loving,
vinyl-collecting father. She started out in RnB, first as a solo act, then as
part of the group "Les Subtiles" with two friends. However, it was
Afro-Caribbean rhythms that brought her to public attention in 2005 with her
debut album, Simplement. The album, featuring tracks such as"Are U
Ready","Mauvais passages" and"Dans tes bras", was an instant hit and became a
zouk classic.
